FAQ

Here's a short list of our frequently asked questions:-

Do you search for birth, death, marriage and divorce records?

We do these searches as part of our normal investigations, rarely do we take on a case just to find a record for the client (genealogists are best for that work). To order a certificate costs an additional £7.50 and divorce records cost an additional £24 for a 10 year search. That’s what the government body charges for the divorce record search, we think it’s expensive as well!

Do you trace email addresses?

No. We have contacts that do this type of work though, it usually costs £150. We can do some tracing of email addresses as part of our investigations but it is quite limited.

Can you get me someone’s unlisted phone number?

No. That would be against the data-protection act if it’s always been ex-directory. And it would also be nearly impossible.

Can you get me someone’s UK criminal record?

If you want a criminal record check on someone, I'd require them to sign an agreement contract before I could process their criminal history. The government would provide both of you with copies. It'd cost about £50.

Do you accept international clients?

Yes. We get quite a few Americans, Australians, Canadians and Europeans looking to find friends and family in the UK.
